Don Quijote de La Mancha for Kids

A couple of years ago, I stumbled upon a version of Don Quijote for kids on a family trip to Florida. I was excited to find it because it's one of the pillars of Spanish literature and a universal classic.  With excitement burning my fingertips, I opened the book.  I kept turning from one page to the next with a big smile on my face, thinking "I have to get this book for my child." The author, Cesar Bona, is a teacher who wanted kids to enjoy and learn about Don Quijote. He selected some of the most famous chapters of the original book and adapted them for young audiences. His narration is simpler and uses modern Spanish instead of Castilian. In 48 pages, Bona submerges the reader in Don Quijote's universe.
